ASEAN – MALAYSIA STATISTICAL FORUM (AMSF) 2025: CALL FOR SCIENTIFIC E-POSTER

With reference to the above, we are pleased to inform you that the Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM), in collaboration with the Institut Statistik Malaysia (ISMy) and strategic partners, will be organising the ASEAN – Malaysia Statistical Forum (AMSF) 2025. The forum will be held physically on 6 November 2025 (Thursday) at Dusit Princess, Melaka. The theme of this year’s forum is:

“Advancing ASEAN Through Inclusive Data and Innovation.”

In conjunction with this, AMSF 2025 is delighted to invite your participation in submitting a Scientific e-Poster. Participation is open to academics, researchers, statisticians, data scientists, as well as undergraduate and postgraduate students (from both public and private institutions).

Key Information:

• Participation: Free of charge

• Submission: Softcopy e-Poster via QR Code provided in the poster announcement

• Requirements & Specifications:

  • Poster must relate to the forum theme

  • Individual or group participation (maximum of 3 members). One poster per submission only

  • Language: English

  • Poster size: A1 (594 mm × 841 mm), portrait orientation

  • Content must include: Title, author(s) & affiliation(s), email, introduction, objectives, methodology, findings, conclusion/implications, references, acknowledgements

• Submission Deadline: 15 October 2025 (Wednesday)

• Selection: The top 10 posters will be displayed and presented during the forum.

Awards & Recognition:

• 1st Place: RM3,000

• 2nd Place: RM2,000

• 3rd Place: RM1,000

• 4th Place: RM500

• 5th Place: RM300

• 6th–10th Place: RM100 each

• Certificate of Participation will be awarded to all participants
